Actor Owen Wilson is asking to heal in private after his alleged suicide attempt over the weekend. The star was taken to a hospital after emergency personnel reportedly responded to a call at the actor's home. Wilson made the request to the media in a statement. The thirty-eight year old is now hospitalized in good condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Hulk Hogan's son is out of the hospital. Nick Hogan was seriously injured Sunday night after his car careened off a road and struck a tree in Clearwater, Florida. A friend of the seventeen-year-old's was also involved in the crash but remains hospitalized. Police say the friend is in critical condition. No charges have been filed in the case. Summer U.S. box offices crossed the $4 billion threshold for the first time, thanks to two high school geeks, a superspy and a couple of cops. The top three movies during the weekend, "Superbad," "The Bourne Ultimatum," and "Rush Hour 3" paced the historic move. Labor Day weekend marks the end of the summer film season. Britney Spears' ex-manager says he wants no part of the singer's custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline. Manager Larry Rudolph says he's fearful of what he possibily might have to reveal about Spears. Authorities are reportedly trying to track Rudolph down and serve him with a subpoena. Rudolph is reportedly still loyal to Spears and says he doesn't want to be served because it won't be good for the singer. Meanwhile, Britney Spears is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services for possible child abuse. An unscheduled hearing was reportedly held yesterday at LA Superior Court to look into the treatment of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. A hearing is scheduled for next week to decide who will have custody of the boys. Thanks for watching today's entertainment update.
