For the organisms to evolve into different organisms, there must be a mutation and a change, however this change has never been observed as a positive change. But according to evolution, there should be thousands of positive mutations. (We have many different animals and life forms.) Natural selection basicly selects information. Nothing is new. For a popular example, check out the bacteria that evolved the ability to digest nylon.
