Clapton disbanded Cream and formed D&D after hearing Music from Big Pink and visiting The Band at Woodstock. He abandoned the concept of the super group for an ensemble of talented no name players focused on traditional blues thus Derek and the Dominoes was formed.

how can you describe a persons greatest song? To me this is my favorite song of his, but his favorite song that he wrote to him would probably be "tears in heaven". Now are either of us wrong, no, but we are both right because those songs mean differant things to both of us.
