why get all pissy when you're given the proper information ? Ingest it, remember it, and use it. I am not trying to be a douchebag like you are, I'm trying to give people CORRECT information on tornado myths. To say that an EF-5 tornados aren't rare is just plain silly.

the F scale as we knew it doesn't exist. It was revised as of 2007. The Enhanced Fujita scale is what it's known as now. Hence EF

Thanks Weather Channel. I wish I could be as intelligent as you. Oh I'm sorry it's EF-5 now instead of F. MY BAD! God I'm so hurt I should walk into an EF-5...oh wait, EF-5's are less than 1 tenth of 1 percent of all tornadoes that occur!!! I'm safe!!!!!

EF-5's are less than 1 tenth of 1 percent of all tornados that occur.. meaning 99.90% of tornados that do occur are less than EF-5 strength. The last F5 that happened in the US before Greensburg was May, 3, 1999... 8 YEARS AGO !!!

Uh hello? Greensburg Kansas?? The first F5 since May 3rd? Winds were about 205MPH but 95% of the town was destroyed! F5's aren't rare.
