CajunPunk ::: Favorites Again, was a cultural thing for the Israelites, just like the Passover or sacrifices or blood covenants. It does not apply to us or even Israel today, as you can see why in the video. However, Jesus taught thoroughly to give. There is no flat tax from God. 07-08-14 16:22:54 __________________________________________________
themoderateextremist ::: Favorites one must also keep in mind it is a "flat tax"... so it benefits "high income christians" more than others, the general philosophy of it is, if you are having financial problems, we should feel any pity toward you, it is because you didn't tithe consistently... which leads to a class separation in the church. 07-08-14 15:53:06 __________________________________________________
themoderateextremist ::: Favorites tithing is a good practice, the bad thing is though, you are pressured into tithing into the "general budget". Try tithing to missions, or to a christian charity and you will notice that all the sudden your tithe "doesn't count" and you are told God cares more about maintaining a peace of property and a few salaries as opposed to investing in more fruitful endeavors. 07-08-14 15:50:06 __________________________________________________
CajunPunk ::: Favorites I know... makes me sick. 07-08-06 12:37:12 __________________________________________________
xenewarrior ::: Favorites Great video! And there's the other evil manipulation by church leaders, saying that the more we give, God will give us double or a hundred-fold in return. Liars! 07-08-06 11:51:03 __________________________________________________
hiswarriorbride ::: Favorites always kinda ticked me off that they want my money and anytime i fell on hard times they got all quiet! 07-07-23 21:24:44 __________________________________________________
CajunPunk ::: Favorites I know what you mean.... that's pretty sad. 07-07-11 18:54:13 __________________________________________________
artdecocoz ::: Favorites but if we dont tithe, how can TG Jakes buy his $3000 suits and live in his multi-million dollar mansion, and Paul Crouch, creflo, and Kenneth Copland and John Hagee, They got bills to pay, to heck with the widow, poor, fatherless, strangers and orphands. I read a study once that said that all the tithes taken up by all the churches in america could wipe out poverty on the earth. 07-07-11 18:41:07 __________________________________________________
DYOUNG36 ::: Favorites No you didn't bore us it was very interesting and informative. 07-06-29 12:08:50 __________________________________________________
