melbookermusic ::: Favorites I have heard great things about the Vox-never tried it though. If you want a metal amp,this is not it..per se. It gets great gain,but not a typical metal type. Now if you want to start with great tone,and don't mind using a pedal(Visual Sound Jeckyll and Hyde),then you are in luck with this amp. If you want effects in your amp I hear that the vox is great.
