Ahlam1981 ::: Favorites Alrighty....this seems to be the pet peeve for ppl who don't have problems with niqab "perse"so lets be clear....lining the eyes is considered by many (perhaps mostA) to be a permissible act of beautificatyion...and there is nothing in islam that says just becuz you're out of the meat market you have to look like a flounce. 7ayaa20 ::: Favorites thank you for that. i am a muslim woman and i cover my face, and i do not adorn my eyes or any other part of me, even the hijabs in this video are adorned with gold, lace , colored beads, all that is not permissible..i do not need to live up tp western standard of beauty while wearing the niqab too, that is just pointless, and the music in this is haram as well. it is sad that a non-muslim knows our teachings more than some of us who are just making excuses 07-08-27 08:24:47 _____________________________________________________
Ahlam1981 ::: Favorites Again i have to disagree with you...while i know the salafis do not agree with adornament of any type, many others would disagree...my point is not to take sides on these issues, nor to chastize anybody (i do that in PM if necesary as an act of courtesy)but to show the beauty in our variety and support those sisters who do not often see themselves portrayed as anything but schol marms in black tents.
