If you are using a mixer or other equipment with 1/4 inch connections, then most of the time you want an XLR to 1/4' converter with a transformer in it to correct the impedance, like a direct box. They sell these for about $10 at Radio Shack. Handy Handy Handy. I am running mine (on the video) into 1/4 inch and then 1/8th inch connectors into my camera, but I guess the cam has a low impedance mic input. __________________________________________________ | |
deflep44 ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 20:26:12 i just got the sennheiser e906 o whatever its called, but im getting really thin sound when i put on any gain. would this be because im running the xlr into a 1/4" converter? __________________________________________________ |
