My friend's horse (the chestnut in the vid) is old and is getting sore so she's trying some really cool new Natural Horsemanship things with him. | JestArabians ::: Favorites 2007-12-16 06:42:41 Yeah... i disagree that the tree of the saddle hurts the horse because if the saddle fits correctly and sits comfortably on the horse it should not hurt them in any way. And in addition, when jumping without a saddle you are unable to sit forward in the correct position to help your horse over the jump. But overall you both are great riders and everyone has a different view of how to ride... She's really clever she does all this natural stuff with her horses and files their hooves into a certain shape so they don't need shoes. And she rides bareback coz she says the tree in the saddle hurts the horse, which is probably true but I can't ride my horse Loki without a saddle coz he tends to buck when he gets excited. __________________________________________________ | |
