professor501 ::: Favorites 2007-09-01 18:31:16 When on earth is Montreaux Sounds going to get this released on DVD? I can vouch for several when I say - "Let's Make a Better World, and make the 1978 Casino Performance available for the legions of Booker fans!!!" The greatest of New Orleans pianists. There was never another like him. __________________________________________________
inacdcwetrust ::: Favorites 2007-09-21 19:41:35 freddie mercury or james booker? they both play with so much soul. __________________________________________________
Thoambly ::: Favorites 2007-09-27 20:46:42 Thank you for posting this! Does anyone know a good audio recording of Booker doing this song? I have seen a couple of videos of him performing it, but it doesn't appear on any of his records. __________________________________________________
themancable ::: Favorites 2007-10-26 06:49:38 Absolutely stunning. Thanks for posting this! Now it's time for me to go check out James Booker, I can't believe what I've been missing. __________________________________________________
398620145 ::: Favorites 2007-11-05 22:56:53 I used to watch him live in New Orleans circa 1980 at the Maple Leaf Bar, combination laundrymat and bar. He put on an awesome show, although he was totally drugged up. He was like watching a train wreck in slow motion, you could see what was on the horizon and regretfully he died of an OD later. A great loss to the music world. __________________________________________________

pamchirathivat ::: Favorites 2007-11-20 09:35:00 that's because the song is actually called "true" and it appears on many of his live albums (can also be called "I'm true") __________________________________________________
ChicoEscuela ::: Favorites 2007-11-21 13:35:01 Breathtaking, a rare glimpse. __________________________________________________ |
